Hi fellows!
I'm Carlos Gomes, research assistant in the project: Geoarpad - Cultural heritage of the Euro- region Galicia - north of Portugal: Appreciation and innovation - subproject: Portuguese Inner Way of St. James, at University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Vila Real - Portugal).

To better know and interpret the inner way, also the motivations and profiles of those who do this way, we are doing a survey to foreigners (not portuguese) who made this route of pilgrimage. Remember, your testimony is very important!

I think you should change your English translation to say Interior route rather than Inner. We have a section on the forum for that route, and I will move your thread to that subforum of the Caminho Portugues section.

There are only a few (maybe 2 or 3) forum members who have walked from Viseu on this alternative, though I know a bunch of us have it on our "camino wish list."

Have just returned from walking Camino Portugues Interrior. Filled in your questionnare, hope it will help other pilgrims!
