Starting the full VF from London (Pilgrims Way to Canterbury) in about 6 weeks time.
Just a quick query...or two...for those who stayed in Orio Litto.
1/ Now don't laugh, but...is a sleeping bag required to stay in the Orio Litto pilgrim hostel? I noticed in Efren's (Gonzalez) brilliant vlog that the beds looked already made up.
So far all the places I'm particularly looking at staying (incl albergues, hostels, etc) will provide bedding. Even though I do have a sleeping bag, I'd prefer not to take it for little-to-no use. My walking motto is 'travel light, comfy at night' & unless there's no choice, I usually avoid dorm-type set ups (doesn't work for me) but would like to stay at Orio Litto for Po River access the next day.
2/ Once again, for those who stayed at the OP in Orio Litto, did they (staff, Mayor) book the Po crossing with Danilo for you? Or did you phone (or get someone else to...) earlier than just the night before?
Many thanks!
