I have done a lot of research on summer, super lightweight (and affordable!) sleeping bags (I would want two of them, one for me and one for daugter) and I would really like to buy this brand/version. https://www.macpac.co.nz/equipment/...sleeping-bag---standard/113701-CLBLU-LHZ.html (I would order one right hand zip and the other a left hand zip)

Unfortunately, they do not ship to the United States :( What to do?

Wondering if someone in Australia or New Zealand would order them and ship them to me? I think the shipping cost would be about $30 and I could PayPal them the $. Just an idea.
Any other way that someone can think of to get MacPac in the U.S.?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

I have used a See To Summit bag. weighs in at 1lb. 50 degree bag. it worked great

I used a simple light down throw from Costco, (2 for $29 last year) as recommended by @trecile. The fabric is slick, so I used pins to keep it attached to my silk sack. I was very happy with it. Perfect weight for September theough October.

I did buy a light weight sleeping bag I didn’t take. You might consider the Mountain Hardware Flip bag that has different weight down on each side for cooler or warmer sleeping. It is light, not a mummy and packs small.

I actually got the mountain hardware bag that you mention in the mail just today. It was on sale and I got it for $98. Unfortunately it came in a mesh bag and not a compression sack as I thought it would so not sure if I might have to buy one. Thanks for the suggestion ! I'm not 100% thatI'm going to keep it because now I thi K I might have to buy a different storage bag for it. We'll see!

I would really like to get this bag but the ones that I've found online are over 200$ and I need two so I'd rather not spend that much. Thank you for the suggestion though! That's the bummer of this that the MacPac I want would be about $120 each and I could get two for basically the price of the sea to summit.

I also tried the jungle bag snug pak which is about $70 and compresses but even though it says it's under 2 pounds, it feels heavy. Also knowing that there are lighter weight better options out there makes me not wan t to keep this bag. I really would rather not spend a ton of money to get bags that check all the boxes of what I am looking for, but it is starting to look like I might. Oh if only macpac had a distributor in th U.S! :)

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
As @Corinne Lombardi said I use a silk sleep sack and a small down blanket. I bought my Montbell blanket before I knew about the Costco blankets. I have cut the Costco blankets down to half size for friends, and when tucked inside a silk liner they keep you nice and warm. All together my sleeping gear is well under a pound, and that includes a silk pillowcase.
