Sleeping bag liner

Hello,
Can anyone recommend a brand of sleeping bag liner? Weight, price, comfort and available in Canada are considerations. Thanks

It is in the US, but I highly recommend the micro fiber liners made by Alps Mountaineering. This is the liner I use:

It is large enough, has a full zipper on two sides, and is machine washable. When packed, it fits in a one-gallon ziplock.

The price is also reasonable.

Hope this helps.

Go for the silk one - much lighter - find a Cotswold Outdoor shop (Piccadilly, Covent Garden, High Holborn)

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Silk is the only way to go! I got mine in an Op Shop, (thrift shore? Oxfam shop) for $5, Aussies...also I cut open the bottom and sewed in a zip. Open zip, pull up go to WC, and even wear as evening gown. I have one of the marino ones too...it's all you need in Summer. And a down sleeping bag...unnecessary in Summer. Greetings from Sydney.

I’m intending In going/ booked flight hostels etc for mid May...
So beginning of summer so to speak...
I don’t really want to spend more than £35- £40

Personally I didn't like the silk liners much, too constricting and clingy in hot weather for my liking. To be clear I was using this as my only sleep cover.

The Coolmax liners from Sea to Summit worked better for me, I liked the stretchiness and breathability they seem to offer.

Just as an FYI, I have tried silk and CoolMax. The fabrics were not the issue for me.

The issue was being able to get in a out of the liner at night. Generally, none of these liners have a separating tab or zipper. So, you must shimmy in and out of them.

For me, this is like putting on pants that are several sizes too small, and wet... get the picture. Now, add a full bladder at 2:30 AM...

So, I search and searched until I found the Alps Engineering liner with a full separating zipper on two sides. Thought this might help.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Would a single duvet cover suffice instead of a sleeping bag liner?

Great silk liners from NZ. Very light and warm. I carry a puff jacket in case for additional warmth.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
The liner weighs just 5 oz. Puff jacket only 10 oz. For less then 1 lbs you have a sleeping system as well as a puff jacket for cool evenings.
Make sure you give yourself a few weeks for delivery of the liner.

A single duvet cover if made from cotton may be a bit heavy or possibly not as warm as a silk liner.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I am trying two - silk one from decathlon (mummy style so quite cosy!) but also an artificial silk style on from Frindly Swede on Amazon - it seems great and has a zipper https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B016BVF5NI/?tag=casaivar-21

Interesting....
I have overloaded myself with so much information, what to take and not to take it does get confusing....
Roll on the 13th of may when i start....

I finally took the plunge; and brought silk one £24.99 at decathlon....
The idea being use it and if I like it buy a expensive one for next Camino….

I need to update this original posting. the company that makes the excellent microfiber and microfleece sleeping bag liners, with full separating zippers is Alps Mountaineering. Originally, I miss-typed. My bad.

LOL! I had this problem. I just cut open the bottom and sewed a zip in. I did this because of hot feet, and the need to go to the bathroom quietly. Easy!

Hola, I gearing up to start my 1st CdS and have seen people recommended sleeping bag liners to protect against bed bugs. Do these help or is it a myth? Should I add the extra weight of bringing one?
