June 10 and 1 month forward I'll have an exhibition in the café of the region's art museum with some of my photos from my latest camino (Mozarábe). It will be called "What a pilgrims sees" and have 21 large prints of camera photos and a lot of more "everyday life for a pilgrim" snapshots in polaroid-style. I will hang it in date order I think giving them a view of 153 km of walking but there are three themes in the pics. "Surroundings", "Peoples life" and "The pilgrim life". If you are curious about the pics I have them in an album. The text in the album is Swedish though.

Waiting for the prints from the print shop. A bit nervous as I also need to prepare a short speech. There is a presentation to the speech as an URL in the album.

Feel free to give some feedback, any pics I should remove etc?

Beautiful photos! I'm sure it will be a wonderful exhibition.

I wouldn't remove any of the photographs that you have selected. They tell a great story. Since I know all about consuming crisps, yoghurt, bananas, and cola, those photos are less interesting to me than the others, but I expect that they will allow people who haven't walked a Camino to put themselves inside the daily routine and life of the pilgrim. I find one of these "pilgrim life" polaroid style images to be quite wonderful, though - the photograph from your bunk of your fellow pilgrim in striped nightwear. That is a brilliant composition - really evocative for me!

Remove?? Beatrice, not one. They are all so evoke the pilgrim experience.
It tells a wonderful story.
Many good wishes for the speech...and the exhibit!

Thanks, one of my favourites as well. He was a lovely man and he approved the picture. I love that he actually carries a PJ with him.

Like to hear that I'm not the only one with that diet :) All the polaroids has text under as "First arrow", "Lunch" "Break" "Hate the surface love the sandals", "Close contact with the camino" etc. to give some info.

Beatrice, your photos are stunning, absolutely stunning. All the best for your exhibition. Do you have similar albums for your other Caminos?

This album was just a tiny tiny fraction of all photos. In my signature files the links are to my photo albums (camera pics). There are additional links in the albums to Mobile photos etc.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Album updated with how the pics will look with passepartout. They look really small in the album but if you click on them you will see how they look like. As a last pic you can see how the polaroids looks like in print.

Yesterday I was at the exhibit hall and hanged all the photos. Tonight is the opening. I'm a bit nervous.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Fabulous exhibition. Imagine having some of @William Garza ’s poetry there too....and some short stories from @gerardcarey to take away and ponder!
Btw I wrote this in my head while walking (hastily translated to English, wrote it in Swedish):

Sooner or later I will catch up
Who am I who takes the first step
Who are you who are in front of me

Who am I who walks this old path
Who are you whose imprint I see between the trees

Who am I going here between the mountains
Who are you whose steps I hear in the valley

Who am I asleep in the creaky bed
Who are you who left this morning

Who am I visiting the cathedral
Who are you sitting on the bench with me

We hug and wish each other peace
I am one step closer to knowing who I am

Worth to put on the wall?

Edited: Thanks @Raggy for language support (I love when people help me to improve)

Congratulations! It all looks fantastic. By now the opening is either in full swing or finished. I hope it was all you could wish for. And more!

100% yes! I love the juxtaposition of words and images.
Is your exhibition running for long? So with I could pop in!
It will hang until June 7. I'll update the gallery online with som English texts, now it is all in Swedish.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
A wonderful collection, Beatrice. I hope you sell many more and make your fare for the next Camino!
