Hola!
Some questions about overnight stays on Camino Catalan:
Does anyone have experience with overnight accommodation in Ullastrella? What is it? Need to book? How to find?
Have anyone stayed in the village of Selgua? Gronze says- accommodation hostal Casa fornies. What are they?
Muchas Gracias!
Buen Camino!

A little googling informs us that Casa Fornies in Selgua is a Pension attached to a restaurant of that name. It might be useful to call ahead to make sure it is open, as places in smaller centres sometimes close for the owner's holidays.

Ullastrell does not seem to be on the Camino Catalan, but I've only walked it from the traditional starting point of Montserrat, and Ullastrell is before that. In any case it is between two larger towns with accommodation. While I am not a fan of Airbnb, it seems that there are some options there.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
If I recall correctly there is an albergue there. When I walked the Camí Sant Jaume from Barcelona I slept in Les Fonts with a Camino friend of a Camino friend but the Amics group in Terrassa told me that a day or so later they would be inaugurating the albergue. I also got a list of albergues from them.

Hello Martini,
Yes, there is most certainly an albergue in Ullastrella. It is called “JORDI SANS” and is located at C. 1 d'Octubre, around the corner from the municipal office/town hall. The keys are available from the Ayuntamiento/Town Hall (Tel. 937-887-262) from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 2:00 and Wednesdays from 5:00 to 8:00 as well as at the Bar del Casal Cultural (Tel. 937-331-051) Mondays from 4:00 to 8:00 and Tuesdays to Sundays from 2:00 to 11:00. The albergue is equipped with a microwave and fridge but no kitchen sink and costs 5 euros. I stayed there this spring (i.e., 2019) as well as once last year.
I have never stayed in Selgua, but have stayed in Monzon where there are spaces available for pilgrims in a local sports centre/hostel. It is mandatory to reserve in advance in order to stay there. A very clean, comfortable modern facility with a great kitchen. Let me know if you need the contact details (or you might find it listed on Gronze.com).
I have now walked this route twice (from Barcelona) so feel free to ask me for any other information you might need.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
