I am walking solo from Le Puy to Conques September 10th and am wondering if anyone had a recommendation which town to stay in between Sauges and Aumont Aubrac. I was thinking maybe Les Faux or Saint Alban de Limagade? Most stops seem pretty obvious for the rest of the walk however I have seen many different options for this night. Also I would love any recommendations for great gite accommodation along the way. Thank you!

A nice place is Auberge Du Sauvage. 19.5km from Sauges.

In Aumont Aubrac really recommend Gite Ferme du Barry

Bon Chemin.

I’m in Aumont-Aubrac now and stayed in Le Rouget last night, Ferme La Croix du Pic. Loved it!

Thanks for your recommendation Davey, looks great!

I did the Le Puy route beginning in May. This may be a little longer than you would like to walk as we are all so different but being 82 I didn't have any problem with it. The place we stopped was in La Roche, 25km, and called La Bergerie de Compostelle where we had one of the best dinners and the pilgrims staying the night were just delightful! Bon Chemin!

I had friends who stayed there and loved it also! Another good choice.

Hallo
In 2016 we stayed here:
Gîte et chambre d'hôte les Bouleaux Nains at Lajo.
It is a litle bit beside of the way, but we were picked up at the chappel Saint Roche.

It was one of the best accomodation (very friendly host, nice rooms and top meal) on our way in France.

Hello,
I am wondering if there are any more accommodation options around le sauvage, because i'm trying to book with "le sauvage" and as yet didn't get a response.
I will be walking from sauges and preferably wouldn't want to walk more than roughly 20 km.
Thanks for any of your answers.

I am fine tuning my packing and I pre package my vitamins/supplements to take daily, which I have done for about 15 years. Do you all take them with you, or leave them home? 36 days of vitamins...
Dear fellow pilgrims! :) I hope to walk from Le Puy to Santiago later this year. I was thinking about starting at some point in august so that I manage to reach Santiago before it gets too cold...
Hey! Thinking about walking Le Puy this year. I am a solo female traveller. On my previous Camino (Spain) I stayed in municipal albergues, but this time I would like to try something...
