When a camino does not exactly go the way you’ve planned

Time of past OR future Camino
C. Portuguese 2021
Amigos, while Googling about the Camino Portuguese this morning, I came across this woman´s Vlog of her (and, boy friend's) recent camino in Portugal. Oh my, did this pair run into a lot of problems but to their credit they persevered. I appreciated her tenacity and was touched by her honesty. I hope you enjoy her little tale, too.
You can watch Jen´s Vlog here.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Oh boy what a Camino
Wow that was a great video - thank you for taking us on your journey - bumps and all - but thats life - never an easy ride but certainly a wonderful one. Hope your parasite leaves you sooner than later.XX

Thank you so much @craiger1511 for sharing this. What an amazing video. I walked this same route in June of this year and also suffered from very bad blisters, but fortunately mine didn't become as badly infected as Rick's and I didn't need to go to the hospital. This video brought back so many lovely memories of the route and of the people who shared it with me. I would encourage everyone who sees this video to show their support to Jen and Rick by giving them a thumbs up on YouTube and subscribing to their channel. I do not know if they are members of this forum, but they definitely deserve recognition and support for sharing their story with us in such a wonderful way.

A great Vlog. Thanks for sharing this.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I have walked Camino for the last four years and I have never had one go the way I planned it. That’s why I finally just let go and apart from my flight there and back home, I don’t plan. I just let it unfold. I think it’s a beauty testimony when you can persevere, but I just want to let the Camino speak through the difficulties and trials to me.

What an amazing video. Am planning my 4th camino for June 2020 and have done this route and it brought back so many beautiful memories. How blessed Jen and Rick were, although they had their struggles, they were able to experience the camino as individuals and as a couple! Just more reason to return and know that one needs to pay more attention to mind, body and soul! Blessings
