Last summer on the CF there was a family of 4 who all had light weight sheet type liners that also had a pillow pocket. They were sewn on one side so they would open all the way on the other. I brought a mummy type liner that I found frustrating because often i just wanted to lay on top of it and it wasn't large enough. The brand of their sheets ironically enough was "Bramble" but I can't find them online. I am thinking about the quilt option (my costco membership ends in two days so trying to decide if I should buy now) but would have to sew extra length as others have suggested. I suppose I could also sew a similar sheet to the "Bramble" brand but not sure what lightweight fabric to buy. Anyone have suggestions?

Yes! Thank you so much @Anniesantiago ! This did not come up as a result from a US based Amazon or other internet search for me. Thanks again!

There are lots available on Amazon and via ebay vendors, try searching for things like "sleeping bag liner" or "travel sheet bag". Or "hostel (or hotel) sheet bag" sometimes brings up useful ones ranging from remarkably cheap microfibre ones which are actually perfectly nice to use, up to fancy hand-dyed multi-colour silk ones.

Sometimes an Amazon search lets you refine the query, I just tried it on Amazon UK and I could select for rectangular or envelope shape bags which should give you what you want. I don't like the narrow mummy shaped ones at all, they make me feel claustrophobic. I use an ultralight quilt for camping because I don't like sleeping bags, and a roomy square shape silk sheet bag for hostels etc.

Some have openings down the side, others don't, I actually cut mine open and added a couple of ties because I like being able to get in and out easily without doing a shimmy dance.
