Backpack transport

Hello, Could anybody give me information about regular backpack-transport on the Camino Via de la Plata from Sevilla to Santiago. Due to a back injury, I need luggage transport. Thanks a lot.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I don't think there are any regular operators. I met a few people on the Plata who were using local taxi services, but it was ad hoc and sometimes expensive. It becomes easier after Ourense.

I saw this advert posted in a Facebook group last year. Covering a part of the Via de la Plata but not as far south as Sevilla. As @Kanga says there is no regular service like that provided on routes like the Camino Frances. With the fairly small numbers and big seasonal trends in walking on the VdlP I do not think that it would be economically viable for someone to offer it. If you really must have luggage transport then I think you would have to arrange it yourself on a daily basis by taxi and that would be very expensive. The Via de la Plata is a challenging route in lots of ways and better suited to those without serious physical limitations.

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
I walked the VDLP last may. There were no commercial backpack-transport operators on the route.

A case for the hip-belt hiking trolley? It'll be the only way I can carry the water necessary and the sleeping mat plus bag plus maybe tarp for when I have to hurl my ancient bag of bones to the ground when exhausted, usually after 10kms :)

The Malingerer.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I did meet one man walking with a huge trolley on the VdlP. About the size of the thing I used to push around in my days as a council road sweeper! I've never really looked into the idea of dragging something on wheels because so far I've never needed to. I think that narrow uneven paths and gates would be a serious pain in the posterior. But people do it. I've heard of people walking from Canterbury to Rome with them. Each to their own

Good luck @El Muto
I see you have some places to contact already.
Please let us know how you manage and whether you’ve found something

I’ve never had to use pack transport (yet) on Vdlp but I’ve seen these responses elsewhere to same question -
