2019, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027 & 2028.
After becoming bored at taking photos of yet another beautiful village and/or church I started taking photos of other things. One was the various markers from the ubiquitous yellow arrow to ornate oyster shells. Below are some of my photos, including some hard to spot markers. Please contribute your own photos of markers. P.S. While my photos are from the Frances (necessarily) please don't limit yourself to this Camino.

Through fault of my own and over-reliance on (badly used) technology I went off piste at the road turnoff for the saddle pass over the Pyrenees but eventually found my way back onto the Frances (the Camino provides). This series is from my (optional) detour.

My pictures, except one, are from last autumn's Caminos Catalan and Aragonese.

The first arrows out of Barcelona. Near the Velodrome.

Lots of ways to go.

No, this is NOT the way to Compostela.

Yellow is the Camino Catalan, orange is the Camino Ignacio.

My camino continued.

Another temptation (or is it two?)

A fence and gate to contain cattle with a couple arrows to let you know that you could enter. In the foothills of the Pyrenees.

On the Aragonese.

At the end of the Aragonese I stayed a night at Puente la Reina and then walked to Pamplona on the CF. It was snowing on top of the Alto de Pedron.
