I thought I’d share a little a Camino music I enjoy. The Artists name was Oliver Schroer, a Canadian Fiddler, who walked the Camino recording his music in churches as he made his way across Spain. Below is an excerpt of his biography:

His album Camino was recorded in churches along the Camino de Santiago pilgrim trail. Schroer walked 1,000 km of the trail in 2004 with his wife and two friends, carrying portable recording equipment. To save weight, he did not bring a violin case. He carried his instrument wrapped in a sleeping bag in his backpack, "like my own precious relic, carefully packed in its reliquary of socks and underwear."[3][4] The album features solo playing, occasionally against a background of local sounds such as church bells, birds, and monastic voices.[5]

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Hi Jozero. Thankyou
Sitting here looking at my back garden in mid morning sunlight and listening to this link which also has such peaceful images to watch.
Here I am safe from much of what’s happening elsewhere even though I know that no-one is out of the woods yet.

However contentment sitting and listening to this link brings to mind - “My cup runneth over”.

Hope and love to all.

Blessed indeed! I hope we can all bring as much positivity as possible to this venue (and others) as a way to prop each other up during all this. I’m a firm believer that remaining positive in times of trouble will help us get through whatever challenges we face. I can’t think of many things more positive than sitting in the garden soaking up the sun! Enjoy and be well.

After my first Camino in 2011, I found and bought his album "Camino." His music has brought me back to the camino many many times.

Agreed. He was also a wonderful photographer and published a book of his black and whites he took during his pilgrimage.
Actually, it wasn't Oliver Schroer, the musucian, who was a photographer. Oliver was accompanied by a friend and photographer, Peter Coffman. As jozero alludes to, Wintergreen Studios Press has released a book, Camino, by Peter Coffman with his writing and black and white photographs of the journey. Included with the book is a download of four previously unreleased tracks recorded by Oliver Schroer during the sessions that created his CD (referenced in previous posts in this thread). Fans of the CD might appreciate the book and additional tracks. I can say this confidently, because the book is sitting next to me as I write.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
