Morton's Neuroma Resolved

Time of past OR future Camino
2006 to date: Over 21 Caminos. See signature line
I just realized out of the blue that my Morton's Neuroma seems to have resolved.
It just isn't bothering me anymore at all.
Now, that said, I haven't done much walking lately.
BUT, I'm wondering if the combination of many supplements I've been taking since February have anything to do with it.

Anyway... just thought I'd share.🥴🤣

A sure cure for Morton's Neuroma is a larger pair of shoes. Believe me, after visiting seven doctors, I found the cure.

Sure.
I'm taking the following supplements:

Essiac Tea
PectaSol-C
NAC
Liposomal Vitamin C
Coenzymated B with Methylated Folate, Methylated B12, Coenzymated B2 & B6
D3 (2000 iu)
Tureric, Bosellia, Giner & Bioperine (Physician's Choice)
and :::drumroll::: Garlicin Cardio Garlic tablets 350 mg per serving

In addition, every night or morning, I did the Pura Rasa Meditation on Healing Cells.
Something worked. :)
My tumor shrunk to 5% of its original size and Neuroma went away!

Congratulations - hopefully that’ll be an end to it!
I‘ve had one aswell for the last few years but it’s not bothered me for ages now. Been walking just as much and not taking any medicines or supplements so I just put it down to good footwear and my go-to SmartWool merino socks!
Buen Camino

Since your tumour has shrink 5% it makes sense that the mortons neuroma which is a tumour has disappeared. Stay well.

Mine also resolved after walking the camino! 🎉

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I've suffered twice from Morton's Neuroma. The first one was resolved by 2 steroid injections. The second one (other foot) shrunk on its own after getting wider fitting footware as recommended by the consultant. I can still feel a small lump behind the affected metartarsal, but it no longer swells up since wearing wider footware.
The consultant didn't recommend taking any supplemements, so it's probably doubtful any would be effective.

All I know is supplements apparently healed mine.

My Morten's Neuromas come and go for the past ten years. Wide shoes and sandals would solve the problem but I am in ski boots about 100 days a year (my job) so by March or April the neuromas have returned. By November my feet are restored until I have to get back into ski boots again. Since I have this dilemma I will have the neuromas surgically removed when elective surgery is available again.

I have had steroid shots in the past and they helped but I would recommend wide footwear instead. I now have partial numbness which may be the result of the steroid shots

Goodness me Annie that list reads like the answers to a major examination questionnaire for chemistry, medicine and alchemy. 😂

I walked the Camino with my Morton’s neuroma. 2 months before I left I realized I had this so I went a little crazy. I’d planned myCamino for 2 years. I ordered different shoes and sent allot back. The bigger the better. I did acupuncture which did help. I soaked my feet and finally found a guy that me me a full orthotic which had a metarsil (spelt wrong) in the middle. I’ve tried allot but this was made with softer stuff. My Morton’s n came and went but there were other aches and pains to worry about. One thing I know I can’t wear wool socks but really good cotton and change during the day. As soon as my feet heat up it starts to bother me. One day I had no socks and just my orthotic. Crazy I know! Big shoes helped allot. Finally found a pair of Solomon’s one whole size bigger.
Enjoy!

Have you tried synthetic socks? I like WrightSocks double layer with Cool Mesh

Thanks I will look at them. They are probably synthetic socks I am wearing. I know they have cool mesh too. Thanks for the thread

Yes, that must have been what I had prior to my Camino last year. Freaked me out, too. Thought my whole plan was about to be deep-sixed.
Did my 600+ miles with it, though
Throbbed when stopping/starting but once walking, it was doable.
Just another owiiee to compliment the blisters.
Then I found Lurbel socks in Leon and life was good!🥰

If you are going to wear Wright double layer socks, you might consider these ones. Just sayin'.
(This is one place that has a good photo. I got mine from the local Mountain Equipment Coop here in Canada.)

I had a solid tumor in my knee that had been worked up extensively and the surgery was in the books. I had decided to walk the CP with the knowledge that I'd need extra time, lots of breaks and even lugging knee braces. When I returned home and met with the orthopedic surgeon to review the surgery, he was in disbelief that I had walked all that and that I had such range of motion. The new X-rays and second MRI confirmed it was gone! I can't explain it...neither could they. I can't explain why I was so headstrong on wanting to walk with a tumor...but there you go!
Happy for your good news Annie...hope it stays away :)
