According to today's video conference between PM Sánchez and the presidents of the autonomous regions, Spain will open up it's borders to EU members except Portugal on June 21nd instead of July 1st.

Portugal has requested that the border to Spain be only opened on July 1st.

I guess Sánchez has fallen to EU pressure (or the tourism industry).

In this el País article it states that under certain conditions, non-EU members may come as of July 1st.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I guess that means all Spanish air borders (ie in airports) and all Spanish land borders with the exception of any border with Portugal, and it includes in particular the land border with France? I realised recently that some countries open air borders but keep land borders closed or is it vice versa. And I wondered recently whether those who are no longer EU members noticed just how much every EU country has individual control over the control of their own borders. 🤭

It looks that way.
