I saw this on FB, and it looks legitimate, from an official government website.

Here's an article from Murcia

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Unfortunately from what I can see it only talks about airport arrivals and completion of flight details are mandatory on the form.

I am booked on a train to Bayonne on the 20th to start from St Jean the next day.

I am going to try and find out more on Monday and will post if I am successful.

If anyone else already knows what the protocol for crossing into Spain on foot is I would be grateful to know. I will enter the Schengen zone via France so maybe the French controls cover entry into Spain as well.

One of the comments below the video is about alternative travels and the answers is that for now is plane only . No idea if it is legit answer . i am planning to start from Porto and enter Spain by walking i guess no one thought about it because the registration have mandatory field "flight number " to complete the registration .

Itried yo download the app to check it out and I got a message that said it was not available in my country. I live in Mexico. It makes sense as Mexico has done as badly as my country of birth the United States in combatting COVID-19.

Are there regulations for those of us arriving on foot or by car?

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I'd be interested to hear if anyone finds the answer about entering on foot. I'll be travelling by bus and train in France and then walking from SJPP (but probably not until the end of September now)

I wonder how the form (and Spanish authorities) will cope with pilgrims not being able to specify, in advance, each night's accommodation?

Currently, there is no such protocol for people entering Spain on foot or by car, train, or bus, at least as far as I can make out. The new app/website replaces the current passenger locator form. It is a tool to trace passengers on airplanes or cruise ships if necessary. You plan to travel at the end of September? That's three months from now! Few people will be confident to say what we need to do then ...

Passenger locator forms had to and still have to be filled in on flights to other European countries, too, in connection with Covid-19. As an example, here's the link to the Public Health Passenger Locator Form that you need to fill in when you arrive in Ireland at Dublin airport. And here are the links to passenger locator forms for the UK, for Germany or for Greece. For example, for Greece it says: The PLF must be filled out by travelers up to 48 hours before leaving for Greece. It is mandatory from June 27 until August 31, 2020.

Ryanair has an overview with a list of European countries that currently require passengers to fill in a form in connection with Covid-19 measures and to present this document to the carrier and/or at the point of entry: https://www.ryanair.com/ie/en/useful-info/map-page

I had a look. You only have to indicate the address for your first night's stay in Spain on the form. You are asked to mark on the form whether this address will be your permanent address during your stay in Spain or not. Only town and region are obligatory fields that have to be filled in as destination, an indication of name and address of your accommodation is optional.

I don't think that the purpose of the form is total control over each and everyone's movement. The purpose is the ability to trace and contact as many people as possible who have been in contact with someone who turns out to be infected, and to do so as fast as possible. It's in everyone's interest to cooperate and make this as easy as possible for the health authorities. IMHO.

Update on the availability of the new Spanish app SpTH - Spanish Travel Health (I deleted my earlier posts about this as they are redundant): the app is available for Android and will be "coming soon" for iPad and iPhone.

So just to confirm, for example, if I land in Santander to travel to Oviedo for my first night and walk the Camino Primitivo for two weeks, I would just need to list Oviedo as my destination and not Santiago?
