The Almeria association has been publishing updates to Facebook from pilgrims on the Camino Mozarabe - Yesterday, Jesus and Juan from Almeria reached Granada, their destination. Tino and Maxi from Bilbao have continued on the way from Granada - They were in Pinos Puente yesterday.
Since the municipal, donativo, albergues are not operating at the moment, the only lodgings are private. The Almeria association updated its guide in June to reflect the current status of albergues between Almeria and Merida:

It's great to see pilgrims on the Camino again. For the foreseeable future, I think municipal albergues are likely to remain closed because the new hygiene requirements make it impossible to operate them with volunteers who visit once a week. I'm not sure if the routes from Malaga and Jaen are up and running? Perhaps someone can confirm.

In other news, the area around Guadix has been recognized by UNESCO as a geopark with unique geological interest. Walkers on the Camino Mozarabe pass through some of the designated geopark on the stages before and after Guadix.

Thanks for the reminder about the Facebook page, Raggy. There are lots of recent photos and videos on there! I'm currently working on a list that includes private lodgings between Almeria and Granada and will post it here when I am done. For anyone who is thinking about the Mozarabe and wondering if they will find a bed, there seem to be plenty of private lodgings - and lots of interesting side trails and places to explore as well.

Does your list differ from the lodgings in the guide that the Almeria assoc. publishes (last updated in June)?

I included everything on the Association's wonderful list plus whatever else I could dig up on the web. In some villages there was nothing more, but in others I found casas rurales on sites like escapadarural.com. The houses probably would not suit single walkers, but might work for groups. Some of them also require a stay of two nights, which I've noted on the list - not good for through-walkers, but useful for people who want to explore local trails to old mills, mines, cave dwellings, etc.

Cool. I have some experience of helping people to find additional lodgings that aren't in the association's list - whether because of high demand during Holy Week or because of limits to walking distance due to disabilities. Generally that means that the price is >€25 (the upper limit for the assoc. guide), or that there are conditions as you described. Let me know if you're stuck for any particular location. I might be able to suggest something.

Thanks, Raggy! I have gotten a lot of great information from your previous posts in various threads.

I wish we were going to be able to walk this fall as planned, but it looks like it is going to be a long wait now, so I'm occupying myself with the planning. Last night I watched a video about the history of the Alcazaba linked on a Camino Mozarabe wiki from the Facebook page you posted above (scroll to the bottom of the page for the link). It also has a link to extensive information about Los Millares, the Copper Age archaeological site just south of Santa Fe de Mondújar.
