Time of past OR future Camino
walking every day for the rest of my life

I have just pulled my pack out of the wardrobe for the first time since I stashed it there after cancelling my Coast to Coast Camino earlier this year. Inside are my Camino clothes, first aid kit, hydration bladder and some snacks. There’s also a full sized fluffy towel;-)
Tonight we drive down to the mountain and tomorrow I’ll get my 2020 Solo Camino on the Old Coach Road.
It’s a bit different to walking in Spain - I don’t need to carry that big fluffy towel but can leave it at the house we’re staying in overnight, there’ll be an hour’s drive to get to the trailhead, and we’re taking sourdough pizza dough which has already been proofing for two days to cook up tomorrow night! I think if I had an albergue I’d definitely build a pizza oven and cook pizzas every night for pilgrims!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Good luck to you.
I envy you) I won't be able to go to Camino soon because of my illness.
I have 4 great friends from around the world that I have met on different Caminos that cannot walk because of various health issues. I am 66 and will not walk until I have taken a good vaccine. They are not as fortunate as me. But they all believe 1,000% that they will have their pack on their back and will be walking a camino soon. Don't give up hope! Buen camino.

If you can make pizza like I had growing up in the Bronx I will volunteer at your albergue forever!

Well it turned into quite the day. After pilgrim-like connections made over lunch with two couples (you all know what I mean by that)...ten minutes later I came across one of them fallen off his bike - despite a group of people doing CPR for an hour til ambulance and helicopter arrived, he died. His wife was naturally distraught but I felt honoured to be able to support her. By the time I’d done my police report three hours had gone by. And I still had to get off the trail - the fire brigade offered me a ride, but it felt best to walk.
What a day.
Treasure your loved ones.

Gosh, what a story. I am taken aback .The poor wife. And you must have got a shock. You say it so well: treasure your loved ones.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

How terrible, Kiwi-family, for them, and for you coming across such a scene! They would have been thankful for the support you gave that day. Hoping you were able to complete the Old Coach Rd without further drama - a hike that is on my list for next March if us in Australia are able to cross the 'ditch' by then. Buen camino, Linda - an Adelaide kiwi
