Our Church is planning a virtual Pilgrimage to Bethlehem during Advent through to Christmas. Does anyone know of an App that, when we key in our own daily mileage, it automatically plots our distances in our route. I faintly remember some organisation had this on the Camino, but it may cost a lot of money to set up.

Lovely idea!
Where is your start point?
I don't know if walk4fun.com has Bethlehem.
Thanks for the information, I will have a look. We are starting from Renfrewshire, Scotland.

Hi Gerard. I found a site: virtualstrides.com
It is not exactly what you asked for, but it may give you some choices. I looked for a free site, by the way.
Great information, thank you. I have found a Church in England who did this last year and have emailed them for any information.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Do you combine the distances walked by the participating members of the congregation? Renfrewshire to Bethlehem looks to be about 5,000km, so that's 192km per day if you start walking on 29/Nov and arrive on Christmas Eve (26 days including 29/Nov and 24/Dec). With 25 participants, you'd each need to walk about 8km per day ... roughly 10,000 steps. That should give you a good appetite for Christmas dinner.

Good luck.
