I took the attached photo in 2014, 1 hour and 10 minutes after my last photo in Viana and 1 hour and 40 minutes before my first photo in Logroño. I have tried Google's image search with no luck.
Where was the photo taken? Can you help?

Bert,
Your photo in from the interior
of the Ermita de Cueva
31230 Viana, Navarre

You are amazing!!! You and all the other Peregrinos who can look at a photo and know where it was taken. If you showed me a photo of the bed in the albergue I slept in the night before I would have a 50% chance of saying duhhhh.

If it was taken with a modern camera, such as a cellphone, It will likely have "location data" embedded into the file. Have a look, it will be there, unless you had "location OFF"

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

I have heard of such things, but, alas, although my camera was not very old, it did not have such an "advanced" feature. It was a Nikon Coolpix L120. I now have a Nikon Coolpix L340 which still does not have GPS.

Sadly it’s becoming harder to find gps in camera- my sony hx90v has it but the new rx1007 uses my phone - annoying on camino when I don’t want to leave my phone on !

@Bert45 You were very lucky to pass this hermatige when it was open. It is owned by a family and is seldom open. I think I may have posted as similar pic in a 'where is this place ' a few months back.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Thank you, mspath. I suspected that it might be there, but my Google search, I thought, produced no similar images. However, now that I look again, I have found one that would have answered my question: https://www.tripadvisor.es/Location...la_Asuncion_de_Santa_Maria-Viana_Navarra.html
It's a bit dark, compared to mine, but I should have looked more carefully.

Bert45,

To find your image I searched on a Google map by linking Viana and Logrono; the only "midway" religious site possible was the hermitage. Their web included a photo of the altar. Answer found!
