Good news.
The muni albergues in Jaca and Arres have opened their doors.
The Aragones Camino is easily doable again.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Fabulous! Arres is one of my favorite albergue experiences during my two walks. 👍. So happy to hear that they survived closure. Small, cramped, remote and absolutely delightful!!!!

Can I ask how you found this out? It's because I'm looking at trying to do this route next week. Jaca albergue email was bouncing, and the AMCS website said Arres is closed still. I'm a bit confused !
Thanks :)

Well, about Arres, I actually had been talking with the Volunteer hospitalera currently working there. No phone, no wi fi, no internet there. Pure bliss.
The area of Jaca was under confinement till the 28th of May. Since the very moment the lockdown finished Jaca´s and Arres `s albergues were open again.

Buen Camino.

That's really helpful, thank you. So it looks like the only broken link in the chain would be around Sanguesa now. I can't see any albergues near it, only private accommodation.
