Hi. Close to finishing Norte and will need an Antigen test before my next destination. Does anyone know a quick turnaround facility in Salamanca or Madrid please. Would like a national well known supplier if possible! Thank you!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Tests are now for sale OTC in chemists, do not know if that will suffice you, no prescription needed

You need to make sure that the OTC test has the option of performing the self administered test virtually in front of a health professional who will certify the results. And it has to be accepted by the airline that you will be flying on. Many airlines have partnered with some of the testing companies to provide this service.
For example here's the information from United Airlines

And from British Airways

Hi, could you, please, share your experience with Covid tests while on Camino. We plan to do Norte this September, there are vaccinated and non-vaccinated people in our team. My main concern is albergues. What kind of test albergues' owners ask at the entrance? Please, reply.

Absolutely zero mention of tests/vaccinations in albergues / hotels / bars / restaurants in my experience. People are asked to wear masks when entering premises but that’s about it. Oh and the fact that they are not operating at full capacity!

One of the best things about doing the Camino is in fact it’s lack of ‘COVID impact’ stamped on it. To be honest hardly even spoken about it apart from in general terms!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Look at travelcovidtestcenter.com for tests in Madrid airport. 20 minute results on antigen tests available that are accepted now in the US. You do have to make an appointment and pay online.
