Thank you for the apps. I'll take a look. On the caminos, I find I don't want to use my smartphone too much Gronze sounds like a great local source.

True, but for the Wise Pilgrim info one might as well use the app, no?

Some of us like multiple sources of info to check (says the man who currently has over 20 Camino-related apps on his phone, not to mention various e-book guides).

It all depends on how you are browsing for information. At home on a computer I find websites to be more helpful.

I use the Wise pilgrim apps. IMHO they are great. But I am an old school man and like to read paper (books) in the afternoons with a glass or two to go with. I like both worlds.

Me too. Nothing like the real thing. Also I just cannot bring myself to be"that guy". A pilgrim with their face constantly buried in a device. So detached IMO. I actually watched a pilgrim walking with their face in a device so unaware he walked off of the sidewalk in a town, stepped off a tall curb and fell to the ground.

On several occations I have had to stop my car to avoid running down people who just walked out in the street, looking at their phone, with earplugs in their ears...

*A relative of mine was looking at her phone while walking down some steps. She tripped and fell, breaking her ankle.
*A young man I knew was killed in a traffic accident; he was texting while driving on an interstate.

A reminder to not use our devices while in motion...on foot or behind the wheel.
