I plan on walking to Muxia and I hope on to Finesterre (time permitting) after I finish the VDLP. I never knew there was a credential just for this route. I will pick one up when I go to the pilgrim office to get my Compostela. Thanks for this information. The credential looks pretty cool. From the Galicia tourist office
Well, if you don't mind getting a normal, black and white Fisterriana, you can use just a normal pilgrim passport. But if you want this one of a kind, colorful Fisterriana, you probably need a special colorful Muxia-Finisterre credencial from the Galician Tourist OfficeI never knew there was a credential just for this route. I have one of these but it looks completely different when I walked in 2013. I used a regular credential and when I walked into town I think I got my Fisterriana at a police station. I can't really remember but I am almost sure a police officer filled it out. It was a while ago. I know they give one in Muxia too. I don't know if I have time to do the whole loop but if i have any time I will do the walk to Muxia as I have already done the other one.Well, if you don't mind getting a normal, black and white Fisterriana, you can use just a normal pilgrim passport. just kidding everyone gets a colorful diploma
The Galician Tourismo still issue credencial, the Albergue and the Tourismo still issue their certificates. The only thing that has changed is the rest of the worldTo resurrect this: I am going to walk Frances in about 2 months and DW is going to meet me in SdC at the end of my walk. We both shall then continue to Finisterre.
Obviously I would love for her to have her own credential...and within reasons also think that i'll keep the CF credential separate and get me one for CF as well
so... the cute colored ones are still available at Galician Tourist Office in SdC? and where does one get a Finisterre Compostella proper? (I presume in Finisterre, but where?)
Anyone did this recently?
thanks
