There are several webcams in Galicia and Santiago de Compostela, the best ones are from CRTVG (the local television/radio in Galicia).

The pictures you see below are LIVE:

Here are some others on the Camino(s) I know of:

Irache, wine fountain http://www.irache.com/hfowc.htm (needs Java)
Burgos (boring view, but shows what the weather's like) http://www.burgoscity.com/burgos/webcam.php
León, cathedral http://www.aytoleon.com/camara_ftp.htm
[edit 5.5.05: now moved to http://www.aytoleon.es/web/cms/leon/webcam/index.jsp ]
Pamplona http://www.concisegroup.com/webcam.htm

Candanchú (down hill from Somport - lots of snow there at present) http://www.todonieve.com/webcam.asp?cod ... istorico=0

Seville, start of Via de la Plata http://www.viaplata.org/modules.php?name=Webcam

Also worth pointing out that webcams use a variety of different techniques that may not work in all browsers.

Just thought I would update the link on here. I must admit while I’m waiting to travel I find some pleasure in watching the stages of the renovation works on the cathedral. Can’t wait to get back there. Buen camino mi amigos
