Where to stop about 10 km out from Seyssel?

I'm preparing to walk Via Gebennensis starting in Desingy soon. I am thinking of starting the first 2-3 days VERY slow, like 10 km or max 15 a day. So maybe first day just walk to Seyssel, which is short and good because I am starting in the afternoon. But 2nd day, I am seeing Seysell - Chanaz (21km, or according to one website 26 km) or even longer etapes on other people's routes. Wondering about stopping sooner. Like maybe break up Seysell - Chanaz in two days? Has anyone done this, do you know of any good places to stop?

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
In 2018, we walked to Pont sur le Fier, and we bypassed Seyssel. We stayed at the Auberge de la Rôtisserie du Fier. We then walked to Chanaz, approximately 18km.
There isn't any accommodation on the Gebennensis between the two, but you might find a place to sleep in Serrières-en-Chautagne (1.5km from the Gebennensis) or in Culoz (3km from the Gebennensis).

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Thank you! I hadn't realized Seyssel wasn't on the GR proper.
