@jungleboy Seeing your updated profile, I notice a fellow Kumano Kodo dual pilgrim. That was our last 'Camino' - November 2019 - though at the time we thought we'd be back on The Way in Spring 2020! Loved our 3 weeks in Japan (first visit there) and walking the Kumano Kodo!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Yes! Would you believe I was also there in November 2019? It was also my first visit to Japan and I spent a month travelling around and unfortunately only two days on the Kumano Kodo. I found it difficult to arrange accommodation etc but it was well worth it. I just returned home from my second trip to Japan a few days ago but since I was in the Olympic bubble, there were no pilgrimage opportunities.

Oh that’s funny, we were there in the same month. Yes, the accommodation is v ‘challenging’ to arrange. We did ours directly via the site with the inn owners and it was so complicated and took forever to receive confirmations. A friend of ours wants to go and we highly recommended to her to use a company to make the KK accom bookings - we’ve never done that for any walk but would definitely do it if we ever walked the KK again!

but, very intriguing, that you were in the Olympic bubble - distance walking event? 🤣

PS Sorry to hijack the thread with Kumàno Kodo … Sayonara

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-

Oh I should have thought of that myself! Unfortunately not, I was there as a reporter for the Olympic Information Service (the official news service of the Games) for basketball and wheelchair basketball.
