Is there lodging in Ponte Arnelas?

Time of past OR future Camino
May 2022 - Porto to Santiago, Littoral-Spiritual
In search of lodging in Ponte Arnelas... My wife is joining me for the final days of my May 2022 Porto to SDC walk. The only planned stopping point in which I cannot find non-hostel/albergue lodging is Ponte Arnelas.

Would anyone out there know of a hotel, AirBnB, etc. in Ponte Arnelas?

Thank you!

Pontearnelas is roughly midway between Armenteira and Vilanova de Arousa so that would be a good place to stay but not aware of any lodgings there. After Armenteira, we stayed in the Os Castaños Taberna in Ribadumia, which offers several rooms for lodging on two floors above the tavern. These are small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. The tavern’s food is quite good. A tourist information kiosk is located right across the street -- at least it was in 2019 -- where you can book a reservation on the Vilanova de Arousa ferry.

Thank you! Don't think this will work for our intended route, but very much appreciate your help. BTW: Enjoyed your books. Both were very helpful in learning more of how to plan this walk.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Thanks for you kind words, ICBWB. I'll be interested to hear if you, or somebody else, can find a place in Pontearnelas or nearby. I just did a quick search on booking.com and don't see anything.

We may well employ the technique I learned from you/your book: walk to Ponte Arnelas - taxi to hotel in Vilanova de Arousa - next day taxi back to where we stopped walking, then walk back to Vilanova de Arousa...

I stayed at an excellent 2* hotel 3 km before bridge. Luisa the owner was super friendly. See

I am looking at the CP with this variant for July 2022. Can you share your plan? I like to do shorter days, under 20 km, and I am thinking about skipping the boat. Currently looking for ways to shorten the walk from Vilanova de Arousa to Pontecesures/Padron.
Thanks
