My Family and I are planning to walk the Portuguese route Porto to Santiago in 2022 of May. May I ask anybody how is the COVID travel restrictions and protocol for us coming from the PHILIPPINES?

I do not live in the Philippines but I know it is NOT on the list of countries whose residents are allowed to enter Portugal directly due to Covid restrictions.

But don't let that discourage you. I heard of people who have recently traveled to other parts of the EU from Manila and apparently all you need is proof of vaccination by a European vaccine ( BioNTech and Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen Pharmaceutica NV) and a negative Covid test prior to entry. Since Portugal has been one of the most open countries in the EU during this Covid crisis it will be strange if you can't do the same there. Anyway the rules and restrictions are changing all the time. Your best move is to call the Portuguese consulate in Manila for more info. Buen Camino!

I too am interested about Portugal's policy regarding arrivals from Manila but I'm planning on much sooner than May. Currently it seems the Phils is not allowed for air arrivals but no problem by land as previously stated. But things change quickly, esp with the numbers dropping in the PH and life resuming.
