Set to walk the CaminoPortuguese in May/June of 2022 and would like to return to see Fernanda again. Does anyone have information on whether or not she still receives pilgrims and if so current info on how to contact her? Thank you

I stayed a couple of years ago now, I attempted to contract via email but was eventually successful by calling her directly. She seemed to be always able to find room for another pilgrim.

I just had Whatsapp contact with my good friend Jacinto, Fernanda’s husband and he told me you can reserve for May or June 2022. Casa da Fernanda is open for pilgrims
They never told me they weren’t.

It's a longer stretch with little to no other places to stop. I would indeed reserve as she has limited space. I stayed in 2018 and fell in love with this family...a wonderful memory. It's likely we'll meet along the way of you've got the same dates...Bom Caminho!

When I tried calling from the US from my cell phone it gave me a busy signal. I ended using my house phone to call her. I was able to speak to her husband when I called.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance as I don't think my legs could walk the entire distance to ponte de lima. Thank you again

Have you tried calling using Skype or other apps to make low cost calls? I use an app called Viber to make calls for 2¢ a minute. That's how I called Fernanda to make a reservation.
