Percebes is what you really want!!!

Mar 11, 2019...especially with a nice saline Godello or Albariño. As a winemaker looking for typicity I really appreciate how much these taste like everything that is lovely in the ocean. Having eaten these here and there over the last 20 yrs I'm always grateful to enjoy a few of these!
They look interesting and yummy! I really would love to try those. Where can I find them? And how do I order them?
Thanks!

I've only had them steamed. If you see them on the menu, order them! You will potentially start seeing them in seafood restaurant windows starting in Pamplona.

Ok thanks! What's the name on the Menu? What do they call'em in Spanish? So I can be sure I'm ordering the right thing. :)

I practically swooned the first time I ate Percebes at a restaurant outside Guernica in 1988. My host was so pleased I enjoyed them. I closed my eyes and felt at one with the ocean from which they came.
