@Tom Conklin you’re not drinking enough water when you’re walking and you know you’re not. It’s habituated self-destruction and you badly need to break that habit. Waiting to drink until you feel thirsty is like planning for a car crash. Drink at...

Here on the forum, we are trying to share our past experiences and help future pilgrims. Some chat about the movie (which is over 14 years old) may be a fun diversion for some people, but I'm afraid it may also be confusing to others. It makes...

For what it’s worth, I wear Buck Naked brand from Duluth Trading Co. They’re highly breathable with ample room down there. They’re NOT made of cotton, which is good. You don’t want to get all sweaty and start chafing!!

Dealing with this stuff is basically a free luggage service, and the suitcases had started to become seriously inconvenient, as I saw on my 2014 most noticeably. They just fill up the space not just downstairs or wherever but also in the...

No thanks. It's not even a system that could work given the way Spanish regions and local government works. I pay spanish goods and services tax. The municipality set the albergue cost and I'm sure regions and municipalities can charge an...

It is indeed amazing what people get into their heads. But facts beat anything: This has been going on for many years: Complete work overload on the priests in Spain, back 15 years ago. And it must surely be much worse today: "In Spain, Catholic...
