Merge replied to the thread Hostels in Porto.Last year we stayed 2 days at the Port Wine Hostal in Porto after coming down from Santiago by bus. Not an albergue that was set up for Pilgrims, but was a nice place. Was 4 bunk beds in our room and a bath with shower. -

We packed some warm layers we wouldn't mind getting rid of after biggest threat of colder weather was gone. Left them in a donation box an albergue about 3 weeks in. Ultreia!

I was walking through a small town with an ageing population of over 3000 ppl that marks the end of a (gronze) stage on the mozarabe and, in advance, checked the availability of grocery stores. One small shop opens daily from 10am to 1.30pm...
