I did it on horseback once in rain and sleet, it was not a pleasant way to do it but at least I got to the top about twice as fast as I could have walked it. -
We did it in rain and wind last October. Trail should be fine. You will get wet feet, but you will probably get that on the road too. Some parts provide shelter. Go steady, and even in the rain it is beautiful.

Aha! David- great question. My pre-first camino worries - Worry #1: How difficult (physically) will the path be? I don't think I can walk 25km /day (I can and I did). Worry #2: How much do I need to "train"? What type of training? Am I doing...

I think I had done so much research on this Forum and asked so many questions......... There was nothing left to worry about! All my doubts were resolved, questions answered. I think all the research paid off. Not sure that I over worried...

I've been a fan of Hikers Wool since 2015 when I first used it on Camino. It's wonderful stuff. Providing a soft padding and natural oils on 'hot spots' as they occur, so that blisters can be avoided! I've been trialling a new version of Hikers...
