Never heard of this there but I am sure they will. If it's ok for the Cathedral it will be ok for M and F. If the hospi at the Xunta albergue in Muxía won't do it...

I never saw an Albergue with a laptop/computer to rent, and it's highly likely you will get any privacy in the potential other places you suggest. Realistically your phone and headphones are your best bet for video/voice interviews, if you wish...

@LTfit , you raise some very good points. As a New Zealander the donativo concept is far from new: we have the Maori concept of 'Koha' which is basically the same. (Although I am unsure if the Donativo concept is cultural, legal, or both?)...
