:D Hi Lillian, I'm also planning to walk the camino in early May from Roncesvalles. My first pilgrimage was in 2002 Roncesvalles - Santiago, 42 days, enjoyed it so much that I went back and did the last 100km again in2003.
I am now 69 and hope to celebrate my 70th on the Camino on 23rd May...
On the Camino in 2002 from Roncesvalles I used one thumb stick and one telescopic walking pole, sometimes just one and sometimes both depending on the gradient and roughness. The top of the walking pole unscrewed so that a camera could be mounted on it, then with a delay set I could include...
Friends of Bill W
The postings by Dreamcatcher and Jackie cause me to think that it would be great to meet another friend of Bill W when I walk the camino again in 2007. Intend setting off from Roncesvalles end April or early May 2007, any takers?
Alan
There are currently no english speaking meetings for friends of bill w on he camino. There are, of course, Spanish speaking meetings. Go to aaspain.org and click donde estamos. My spanish is minimal but I felt right at home in the meetings none the less and met some new friends.

Hi Marjeanne, :) I intend starting my next camino from Roncesvalles at end of April or early May. My 70th will be on 23rd May. Perhaps we will meet, I do hope so. I walked from Roncesvalles to Santiago in June July 2002 in 42 days and enjoyed it so much (despite the pain!) that I went back...
Hi Fellow Pilgrims,
I'm also planning to start in early May 2007 from either Roncesvalles or Pamplona. In 2002 I completed a pilgrimage from Roncesvalles in 42 days starting last week in May and arriving first week in July, this time have decided to start a few weeks earlier to avoid the heat...
I'm finding the comments from other pilgrims very useful thanks to everyone who has contributed. I think my kit will include silk long johns and a silk long sleeve top, a lightweight windproof jackets with useful pockets. a light sleeveless fleece and a poncho.

Hello All and particularly Brad
I'm planning to walk the Camino in May June 2007. Nobody replied to Brad's questions, is there anyone who will have a go at answering the same questions for me. Brad should certainly be able to by now!

:D Great news Pilgrim delighted to hear that your pump is now fully repaired, the trick now is to gradually increase the use until it is 100% (under medical supervision) Once you get back onto the Camino you will need to set up an arrangement to check your INR level which dictates the Warfarin...
Martin,
I wore Brasher Lightweight boots with Gortex liner when I walked my first camino on the Camino Frances in May June July 2002 and my feet were far too hot. There are however lots of opportunities to soak the feet and the irrigation water is flowing down canals and ditches from the...
