Waterproof walking shoes or not for early Spring?
I can only speak to my experience. I walked the Camino in April. Waterproof trail shoes, gaitors and rain pants. My feet stayed dry the entire time except when we had three days of down pour. Will the Camino be too crowded at the end of May?
Everyone's experience is different. We only had an issue once during Easter. Last night the albergue we stayed at (a wonderful place, Casa de Pescadora) only had 4 of 12 beds filled. We try to avoid all major stops in the guidebooks and are usually done walking by 2 pm.- Andree Pollock

Maximum ATM withdrawal amount
I was able to withdraw 600 euro in Burgos at CaixaBank for a 5 euro fee. Santander charged me 5 and only allowed 200 euros to be withdrawn in Logróno- Andree Pollock
