I agree. The detour to Samos included some of my favourite walking on the Frances and the village of Samos is delightful. I loved the tour of the monastery also.
I read this before my Camino and I must say it was very helpful. I am a reasonably light packer wherever I go but found some great tips from SYates. I am happy to say that there was nothing I would have changed in what I packed for my 50 day Camino from SJPP to SdC this year! Thanks SYates!
