    I was on my way to Carrion and had to pee just that bad. I squatted in front of cars driving by etc and got relief . I was 67 and less modest and a very small bladder.

    I didn't read all the replies but....I took the bus back to Santiago from Muxia and then the plane from Santiago to Lisbon. It was easier than taking trains and cars and busses to Lisbon.

    you could do both....sort of. I walked two days on the coastal and then went inland. I live at the beach so for me the villages were my best experiences on the inland.
