We stayed in Santiago for a few days, just soaked up the history and atmosphere, then as we were getting the ferry back to the UK, chilled out in santander doing a few walks from there, stayed near the marina
Good reply, I know I have to take on board that a little of the problem lies in me (maybe ha ha) but there were alot of us with the same feelings, especially when the beds were becoming scareser as the, camino 2 day experience trips started (there I go again, sigh
In the situation I mentioned, what compassion is needed, a big group of physically fit young guys couldn't be bothered to carry their bags,we walked with Some who had real physical and emotional difficulties but didn't compromise,
There was more than I felt that this last stage was a...
Would rather say how I feel /felt than today's fashion of virtue signalling
Nobody has to agree.
Just hope my 2nd one is relatively soon, feel I need it, the amount of time I spend looking back over my adventure and reading other people's on here
Yep plenty of valid reasons but they could put some effort in like the ones I saw, a big group of young lads, starting of, the leader gave them a big. Pep talk then they just walked past their bags all labeled up and full of Camino stickers and baubles, probebly a taxi waiting for them also.

Did a lot right through,walking...

Did my Camino starting last September after redundancy, thing is when you start a new job, it and life gets in the way.

At the moment I spend alot of time...
yeh i guess ,i think the best thing with camino tshirts is that i can start random conversations when im walking here in Cornwall (drifts of topic) i love to recall my time in September ,suddenly surrounded by sheep rather than people it is still taking time to adjust
how about one (this is mine i deserve it )showing the route starting from sjpdp that would definitely trigger me ,as in, been there havnt done that but bought the tshirt. :D
excellent list ,unfortunately my recent trip was budget so most food was from shops (this can sometimes be nearly as expensive i suppose) some of the communal meals were veggie but lacked protein as they had just left the sausage out ! trying to remember the exception where it was lentil and...
i used columbia conspiracy outdry hiking trainers ,blister free for the full Canmino the fit si so good for wide feet but did top up my insoles with afew 1 euro ones.
But the weather was amazing ,in wet weather the waterproofing is rubbish ,non existent ,zero (maybe a fault with mine)
