BAh, sounds good. I found a shared taxi and made it to St Jean pied de port today. I thought everything would be closed on Sunday. But the pilgrims office and sporting goods stores are open! So now all that is left to do tomorrow is walk...

I like Restaurant Oillarburu. Rue de l'Église. Good local food at a reasonable price. -
BThat was a very positive moment. I can remember entering the cathedral up the stairs from the Obradoiro through the Portico de la Gloria and putting my hand on the Tree of Jesse like many thousands before me. Sadly denied to those arriving today.
