    Walking the Rota Vicentina / Fishermans trail in October

    We walked north to south in June 2019: https://www.pamnjeff.com/Coast-to-Coast/fishermens-trail/ The sand is very fine, like powder and our running shoes absorbed it through the breathable tops. I recommend more solid shoes, maybe full leather boots. Anyway it's a great walk.

    Clunia on the way to Quintanarraya

    We went to Clunia in September 2022 but by taxi from Huerta de Rey. The site is quite large and we spent an hour, walking about 2 kilometres wandering around the sights. I would rate it "not to be missed" for those interested in Roman ruins.

    I suggest using the app Total Commander (free). In Total Commander, locate your .kml/.kmz file. Long press on the file, then tap Open with. You will (should) then have the option of opening your tack in maps.me. BTW .kmz is simply a compressed .kml - you can uncompress in Winzip or similar...
