I have Raynauds and rarely wear gloves as they don’t allow my hands to warm up. I did take a light nylon liner pair for dry cool mornings… but I would suggest light wool mitts and a waterproof overmitt (which I purchased.)
I am hoping to do the Portuguese Camino- did the Camino Frances in 2016- loved it. I used a Gregory 43 or so and filled it/carried it no problem. I’m 5’5” 128lbs or so… I probably took a few items I didn’t need (but not much extra….)
I agree with others- I would recommend trying on many bags...
In general, I find Solomon shoes to be made extremely generous size-wise. I am female and cannot wear them as they are made too wide. But- they are a GREAT shoe....
On a side note..... I needed to purchase a new pair of shoes while on the Camino- first pair got a hole in the sole.... second pair...
