I find this thread interesting.....amazing, the different experiences!
I have walked the Frances twice.....the first time (2014) in two parts...injured my back crossing the Pyrenees and had to stop, came back two months later, picked up where I left off and finished....1 hour wait for...
Johan, just finished....May 19....sorry I can't join you......love your country and my son-in-law..."Go Springboks".... he is teaching me!
Primitivo is beautiful but damned hard ( at least for this old guy ) yet definitely worth it....much less interesting after Lugo and a bit of a downer when...
Time for me to update my earlier post. I mentioned that I never felt the crush of crowds that many others have noted? UPDATE...WOW!
I need to change my position....I just finished the Camino Primitivo ( every bit as beautiful as they say and maybe even a bit more challenging than I expected ) ...

While walking the English coast to coast walk last year, I met a Dutch couple that had a Handheld GPS device with the trail on it. They simply followed the trail stage by...
Jan31 :2017. Absolutely great posts, Anemone.
I have done CF twice,...June Sept. Neither one particularly crowded, luckily, I guess as I enjoy my solitude. Nonetheless, I am still looking forward to the solitary trot along Primitivo.
Your total report will travel all the way with me...
