Thank you so much for the link to that guide. I've just arrived in Aguilar de Campoo by bus from Burgos, and intending to head west on the Olvidado as soon as the rain stops tomorrow morning. The accommodation options are greatly appreciated, since they don't seem to appear anywhere else. I'm...

Hi Julia,
I'm also planning on departing from Irun along the Camino del Norte for Santiago on 14th/15th October. Perhaps we'll see each other along the way somewhere.

I have a good memory, and like many of the above posters have spent a lifetime noting details along the path I...
Hi Tania - We met a couple of times along the way in Sep-Oct 2013, but I've only just come across your lovely photos and mymeseta.com. What a great story, thanks for sharing it.

And once I figured that Google Translate will automatically translate the page into English in the Chrome browser on my tablet, that makes it even easier.
Thank you Kanga. I've come across several mentions of the Eroski site, but not seen it until now. All the Spanish is a little scary at first, but lots of very useful information there. It looks like many if not most of the albergues will be closed by the time I leave in mid-October :-(
Kathryn - I'd be interested in knowing how you discover which albergues will be open. I was just going to take my chances from mid-October to mid-November, but perhaps there's a better way?
Regards, Brett
