Your next pilgrimage?
I will have to start my next camino from Oporto - Portugal, because there I left my walking stick in the house of a beautiful Portuguese girl that I met during my camino frances may/june 2005 :) But I don`t think I will do the camino again for many years. Barcelona to St-Jean-Pied-de-Port?
When I did that in may 2005, I took the train from Barcelona (main station), to Pamplona. It took about 6 hours. (20 euros) Then I went by bus from Pamplona to Roncelsvalles. It took about 1 hour. (5 euros) Then I went by a taxi (together with other pilgrims) to St.Jean. It took about 45...- bsaa77

Tenting in Spain

Hi Suzanne! I`ve spoken to a friend of mine who did the carmino in 2002. He said tenting was very good, as he could tent almost everywhere in Spain, and he could stop for the night whenever he wanted to. Thank you for your good advices! I really would like to bring a small tent (one-man tent) so that I can rest or sleep whenever I want to. Tenting in Spain
Im doing the camino in late May 2005. I wonder about the possibility of tenting along the route. Can I tent anywhere, or do I have to use official camping sites? Prices, recomandations etc? What about the weather in May - June, is it ok for tenting? Bjørn Sigurd, Norway :)- bsaa77
