    Gortex or No -Gortex Shoes

    No to Gortex ! Almost ended my first Camino, and not from rain but from sweat ! Horrible blisters. Have switched to breathable Hokas and 4 Camino’s-no blisters

    The albergue has been updated since 2011 … very nice place … and does supply sheets, pillowcases and towels. If you’re passing by in the first two weeks of March, stop and say Hi ! Will be hospitalero there for my second time !

    Im heading back to Spain for my 3rd year of volunteering (5 different albergues and 3 this time) and i still speak virtually no spanish. Smiles, miming and google translate get me thru. Love my time as a hospitalero

    I’ve used Orange for my last 4 camino’s…buy a SIM card at the Madrid airport with no set time limit (as I’m in Spain for a couple of months) just a set amount. No problems at all
