Poll Which Camino are you planning next?

Still Planning to do Le Podiensis out of Le Puy to Cahors. which was scheduled for September 2020, now it looks like next May 2022. I am hoping to do the Portuguese if all works out well this October, It is really difficult to actually plan for this year so it would be a last minute decision...

Where did you walk ( locally ) in 2021?

I walked just over 3.200 KMS in 2020 in and around the Ottawa area, which was on average 8.9 KM a day, I hope that in 2021 I will be walking the Podiensis in France, I love the Camino masks that I purchased from Ivar. they proved to be very useful in 2020.

    Favorite Leg/Section

Hard to pick just one, there are so many that stick out in my mind. I would have to say number 1 would be reaching the summit at O Cebreiro what a climb what a view, The walk between Villafranca and Las Herrerias also comes to mind as does walking through the Yew Tree Forests in Galicia. It is...

    What was your meltdown point?

I recently finished the Camino Frances and one day I came close to what might be considered a melt down. After walking in the pouring rain for 6 hours , sick with a head cold and a UTI I reached a point where my legs just did not seem to want to work anymore. I could barely lift them and then...

    Cortisone Hip Injection

I was supposed to get a cortisone injection in my hip this morning but between the Dr and I , we decided that the risk outweighed the rewards.
