Hello Ivar,
I cannot find the “edit” setting for my pilgrim books post. I appreciate your help. Also a question: Is there a way I can delete the post and create a new one for Camino Sunrise?
I appreciate your listing my book. My wife and I still follow the Forum every day...it was such a valuable resource for our Camino, thanks to Ivar and thousands of members.
We loved the Way of St. Francis in Italy last year. If you are interested, my wife created a short slide show about our trek; it is on my website, regspittle.com
Sandy Brown wrote a guidebook about the trek.
My wife and I both read books on our iPhones on our most recent trek and it worked out well. We used the Kindle app. If you want a Camino book to read, you could try mine: Camino Sunrise, on Amazon.
Happy trails to you.
“The Way” gave my wife the idea that we should walk the Camino; we have just finished our fifth long-distance trek as a result. And I ended up writing a book (Camino Sunrise) that has exceeded my expectations. Then there are a wealth of personal rewards. So I agree with you. The film has many...
Many are nervous at the start, traveling solo or not. That will go quickly as you are welcomed to the Camino. Happy trails from a longtime Santa Barbaran!
I am a boot man myself...I like the added ankle support, especially on rocky surfaces. My Salomans are waterproof and have kept my feet dry during two quite rainy days here in England on a trek I am doing now. I wear rain pants that cover to ankle length over the boots.
