I finished the route from Porto in mid October and having followed the Brierly stages I needed a rest day in Ponte de Lima. I found it hard to start with the distances on the first 3 days. Had they been the last 3 days it may not have been an...

I started the Camino Ingles last month with some dear friends, but soon found out the hills were too much for me. (I have asthma and had not trained on hills here in Illinois. In fact, I hadn't anticipated the hills being so steep and long, nor...

Hi Tony, the way was well marked and I didn't take the wrong path any time so no issues there. Plenty of hostels and Albergue too. The route caters well for pilgrims.

Finished the Lisboa to Santiago caminho (via Central route) on 15th September. More road walking in the route from Lisboa to Porto than after Porto. Via Lusitania and other groups have made a lot of progress at moving the route off of busy...

There is some road walking but very little on busy roads. Mainly on quite roads, I didn't find it an issue.

Hi Tawny, Yes, there were women who seemed to have set off on their own at least and then were walking with other people. It is well catered for along the route. There are plenty of well placed coffee shops along the way. There were people from...
