    Best time to start from Porto in the fall

    I am walking it now. I started in Porto 10 days ago. The coast was so perfect, temperature-wise (in the 70's farenheit). The last few days have been hot, around 90 degrees F. But, with some breeze, shade, water, and a sun hat, it's really okay.

    It sounds like spring is a great time for the VldP. Any opinions out there about Salamanca- Santiago (or however far I get in 20 days) around July 1? Alternatively, I could look into beginning from a point further north? Do most people hire support teams? I am not, but I hope I am not fooling...
